We try to visit different locations for our annual rambling weekends so may not be back as a group, but could well be as individuals, and we would certainly recommend the hotel to other rambling groups. The room is delightful and the food was commented on by many of our friends and family a being a lovely spread. We have recommended you to our funeral directors (...). Our initial meeting was with Agata, she was sensitive, efficient and generally a pleasure to deal with, very helpful.

We have just spent 3 nights at the Rendezvous hotel over Christmas. As the weather was so bitterly cold, we were a bit concerned that the hotel might be cold, but we had no need to worry! It was nice and warm and we even had a fan heater provided in our room to use as we wished. The room itself was spacious and had a lovely view over the frozen canal and countryside. The food at the hotel could not be faulted especially the speciality porridge at breakfast times! The service too was excellent and the staff were always polite and helpful.

Thank you for your recent letter and I would just like to also thank you and all the staff there for making our weekend for the Hash House Harriers extra happy and special.

I have to say that all of the staff we encountered were cheery and friendly towards us, I realise we are a rowdy bunch but it seems to have been taken in the good spirit it is intended, no awkward faces but great and efficient service, everyone seemed to try very hard for us.

Food was very nice and the lovely waitresses kind and efficient.

We used the pool facilities too and found it very enjoyable, and the staff always willing to assist there.

We couldn’t fault your hotel and service and I just thought you would like to know that.

It isn’t all hotels who will put up with loud and very enthusiastic but well intentioned people, as all at The Rendezvous did, but you did it very well and we look forward to next years event with great excitement!

First let me say how much everyone enjoyed the hotel, everyone remarked on the friendly atmosphere and the facilities are excellent. Breakfast was 1st class and dinner was second to none.

As for golf, we played 4 courses on this trip, Rudding Park (Harrogate) are very professional and put on an excellent days golf and the course is top class. Two courses in your area, Nelson and Keighley, both provided us with well organised and enjoyable golf, although the weather had a bit of a negative effect at Keighley but both well worth a visit. Lastly Wetherby Golf Club, a very good course in good condition and again well worth a visit.

Finally, we are planning on a repeat for next year so I'll be in touch shortly.

The associated and partners of the Crewe society were delighted by their choice of your hotel (rendezvous hotel) for their annual dinner on April 16th 2010, together with an over nights stay for some. On behalf of the Society we thankyou for such excellent good in such sophisticated surroundings. The society exists for the Northern based alumni of Lincoln College, Oxford and our members have many years of events experience. They are thus very critical, but we did not hear one word of criticism. The staff were highly praised not only for their efficiency, but for the plesant manner in which they carried out their duties.

Just a quick email to thank you for all your help regarding the weekend my group have just had at The Rendezvous Hotel. The group enjoyed all of the walks I provided for them from the hotel on Friday, Bolton Abbey Estate on Saturday and yesterday from Grassington to Coniston and back.

Every one of the 23 (including my wife and I) had a great time at the hotel, special mention of thanks to the Restaurant team superbly lead by Lindsay.

All the hotel staff have a suberb attitude, I spoke to many from chambermaids, leisure club, restaurant and reception, without exception all were superb.

Finally a special mention of thanks to you, all that I required to organise my group was supplied with rapid response to any queries.

I just wanted to thank you for a fantastic evening on Friday night. Everyone has been very complimentary and some people have asked if we can do the same again next year. I thought your staff were excellent and very professional, particularly the manager on the night. The cabaret was great fun and really added something different to the event.
